ADA Signage
The purpose of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) is to make public sites, facilities, and buildings accessible to and usable by people with physical disabilities. The section of ADA that has the most effect on the sign industry is Title III, which deals with Public Accommodations.
Title III specifies a series of sign characteristics that ultimately enhances accessibility through improved legibility and the standardization of sign placement. To ensure compliance with Title III regulations and provide our customers a variety of accessible sign choices, Clarke Systems offers a number of ADA signage options with a variety of ADA mounting choices, ADA font options, and copy and background colors.
