We design and make metal-coated 3-D and 2.5-D dimensional signs and plaques. We coat these with real metals including bronze, brass, nickel-silver, copper, stainless steel, and aluminum using a cold-cast proprietary process. We can coat their backgrounds with several types of patinas or paint, and can accentuate the 3-D shadows with hand-rubbed bronze or black paint. We hand polish the high places by hand, creating a glossy shiny metallic surface. We carve the dimensional substrate using a premium grade 20 lb/ft3 high density Precision Board HDU. These signs & plaques are 1.5 to 2 inches thick, thus providing plenty of depth for good dimensionality and impressive relief.
We can do 3-D bas-relief carving, 2.5-D flat and outline carving, or engraving/V-carving with our 3-D CNC router/carvers.These signs and plaques can also be decorated with 24K gold and/or silver-leaf gilded.
These signs and plaques are suitable for both outdoor and indoor locations. The coatings are waterproof and UV resistant. These signs and plaques cost only 1/3 that of solid cast metal plaques, and weigh 1/10 as much, so are easy to install on walls without reinforcement. They have a very elegant and up-scale appearance. We can make 3-D or 2.5-D metal-coated signs as large as 10 ft x 5 ft.
